I'll come right out with it...I've also been opinionated. I may not always be right, but I like to mull over things and argue discuss points until others are passed bored I’m satisfied. My opinions can and will change if the evidence warrants it - one of the advantages of being a sceptic. Dogma is an anathema.
Oh, a sceptic. You guys don't like anything.
I often find that people confuse sceptic with cynic, and for a while it might have seemed that the two were interchangeable.
So what makes a person a sceptic?
In my opinion, it's someone who asks questions. Questions like what evidence is there? Where is the evidence from? Do the facts still hold up with the latest information? Are there multiple sources for the evidence? The media has made such an effort to portray a balanced view in some topics, but sometimes this balance just doesn’t exist.
The main theme of this , if I’m bold enough to make such a statement, will be the one thing that fascinates me the most – people’s beliefs.
